[. . . ] This menu contains four options, `Average Location', `Project Location', `Sight `N Store', and `Append to Route'. Average Location -- When this option is selected, the Average Location Page will be displayed and the unit will begin to take and average location read- New, Mark, and Waypoint Page Options 33 Reference Waypoint Pages Options ings. The Location, Estimated Accuracy, Elevation and Measurement Count will be displayed on the Average Location Page. When you are ready to save the waypoint, with the `Save' button highlighted, press ENTER. Project Location -- When this option is selected the Project Location Page will be displayed. The Project Location Page has four fields, `Location', `From', `Distance', and `Bearing'. The `From' field allows the user to select where they would like to project a waypoint from, the choices are `Current Location', `Use Map' and `Use Points Menu'. After making a selection in the `From' field, a distance and bearing will need to be entered. When finished entering the data, highlight the `Save' button and press ENTER. The data on the New Waypoint Page will now reflect the location of the projected waypoint. To save the new waypoint, highlight `OK' and press ENTER. Sight `N Store Sight `N Store -- When `Sight "N Store' is selected a Compass Page will be displayed. Line up the sighting marks on the case of the unit with and object the press ENTER. You will need to enter an estimated distance to the object from your current location. The `Sight `N Store' data will now be reflected on the New Waypoint Page. Append To Route -- When `Append to Route' is selected, a list showing the available routes or a `New Route' selection will be displayed. If you select an 34 Append to Route existing route, the waypoint will be added to the end of the route. If you select `New Route', a new route will be created and the waypoint will be added to the route. Points Of Interest Will only be available when MapSource CD data that contains Points of Interest information is loaded in the unit. When `Points of Interest' is selected, the Points of Interest Selection Page is displayed. To select a Points of Interest item, highlight the desired selection then press ENTER. After an item is selected, either a list or selection menu will be displayed. If a selection menu is displayed, make another selection and press ENTER.
